In the 1st year of this league there will be 2 drafts: a major and a minor league draft. The major league draft will a Live Auction draft that last 25 rounds and the date will be determined once the league is filled. The minor league draft will be 10 rounds and start after the major league draft is finished. Major leaguers will have salaries, while minor leaguers won't. In the major league draft there are no restrictions on at-bats/innings. There are no restrictions on at-bats/innings for minor leaguers. You may choose how long to sign a player to length wise, but there is a contract cap of 60 years. Exceeding the contract cap results in the same punishments as going over the salary cap. The maximum salary that may be given to a player is $25 Million per year, the minimum is $1 M.
Minor leaguers don't have a contract length or salary when in the minors. Once you bring them up, however, their contract will be 4 years, 500k each year. If you send a player back down to the minors, they will still have that contract. Foreign players can be drafted only after they sign with a major league team. If they are not signed by the BEGINNING of the minor league draft they will be made available in free agency immediately following the minor league draft.
Contracts will not be worried about during the draft. However, after the draft you have 48 hours to get your contracts in, they must be equal to, or less than the contract cap of 60 years.
